Yeah I notice that the damage is more consistent on the second try which ultimately ended up killing the boss

Yeah I think the problem is my big pals blocked the screen, and I was trying to fight on a small island. I think the extra space was enough to help me clear. lol

so what's your overall opinion of the game? or are you gonna try the base building part more before making judgement?

It's really fun. I've been playing with a friend of mine in a separate game and it's been great. I like how many different pals I can acquire and their fun designs. I like how long I was able to cheese with certain pals like "Electric Bomb" and "Lightning McKing". It's crazy how far those early-game pals can carry you. I don't think I'll be doing much building in this game though. I felt that my time was better spent elsewhere.
