"The monastery will now teach us the ancient and forbidden art of... In Need!" That got a chuckle out of me. I was imagining a monastery full of badasses teaching people begging. =D

If you don't take your own skill, you have to take the lowest AA.

The rulebook for this game is awful. I played the game over 40 times and have just recently found out that I've been playing several crucial rules wrong. You're doing a great job so far. :-)

This has confused me because I have seen it played this way in other videos. When a unit has higher armor than the damage coming at them they take no damage. However according to the rules if you do not block the damage then someone gets a wound, but since your unit has higher armor than the damage, they take the only wound as a result of the battle. Walk thru under Assign Damage Phase "An unblocked attack does damage equal to its Attack value. It is up to you how to assign this damage (whether you put some Units in harm's way, or have your Hero take all the damage), but you must assign the entire damage total from unblocked enemies. First, you may choose one of your Units and announce you want to assign damage to it. It does not matter whether the Unit is Ready or spent, but it cannot be already wounded. If you do so, the Unit gets Wounded - take one wound card from the wound pile and put it over the Unit - the Wounded Unit cannot be used again or assigned to take further damage until it is healed (see later). The damage total is then reduced by that Unit's Armor value. If the damage total is reduced to zero or less, the phase is over. If not, we continue to assign the remaining damage." Rule book under Assign Damage Phase 4.a. "Whenever a Unit is assigned damage, put a would card on that unit. A Unit becomes Wounded regardless of how much damage was actually assigned. Then, reduce the damage total by the Unit's Armor value. Assigning just one point of damage can Wound a Unit with a high Armor value. Armor value simply determines how much damage remains after the Unit is Wounded, if any."

You are absolutely correct, however in this video series I have only blocked using units that have resistance to the attack. In the past it was my golems and in this video it was my new elite unit who gained all resistances after using his ability. If a unit has resistance and blocks an attack not surpassing his armor then he takes no wounds. Thank you for watching by the way!

Im probably suuuuuuuper late but the ice mages wouldn’t get the brutal ability. The red city only gives Brutal to physical attacks, not elemental ones. Great vid tho
