I find myself using IBC totes for everything that I used to use pallets for. Much like your man backet, sides and a solid deck with sides that I can pick up with the forks on my tractor and go.

Great job Brock. Been there done that with no help at times. Takes a lot longer but more admirable in long run. More rewarding too. Keep it up sir.

Careful with all those nails in "shear" on the front and back beams. You may want to add a 1/2" carriage bolt through each joint. It won't matter as much on the sides. Thanks, fun to watch!

Brock, i haven't commented in awhile but i still watch every video. I just wanted to say i think your doing a great job doing this project by yourself. I personally do most of all my projects by myself also and yes it would be easier to have a bunch of people help but i get much more pride out of doing myself.

Howdy Brock! Well I always look at ways to do things as there is a right way, a wrong way, and my way lol! As long as it works, and you get the results you were looking for, you did it right! I've become pretty dependent on YT for edumacating me on 'how to' the things I don't know how to do. But at times it is really satisfying to figure out some things on your own. Well done and thanks for sharing 🤠

Good morning Brock. I have all kinds of advice that might help make the job a little bit easier for you but it looks like you're doing fine. What I would like to tell you is not to trust those nails. I've personally had an instance where they bent like soft butter. To me the quality of the steel used just doesn't measure up. I would go around and run some construction screws in before you do the roof rafters or drill through and use carriage bolts or even lag bolts. I'm just trying to look out for your safety when you're up on that roof. God bless and have a wonderful day. 👍👍🙂

That looks great, Brock! I'm going to need to put up the same kind of structure at my place to house my tractor and implements, as well as to act as a rain collection roof. Watching you knock this out solo is an inspiration to me to get after this project. Take care and God Bless.

Hey Brock, I usually notch my post so that way the beam sets on the post and screws to it easily. Might get you a line level it's just a small level that hooks onto a string or chalk box and you could mark all your post at one time. Looking good. It's hard work and you are by yourself. Good job..

If it gets done and your comfortable doing it your way. Who cares? It's your project. There are many ways to accomplish any task. Doesn't have to be done a ridgid method. What is easy for one guy, may not be easy for another. I think it is looking good

Nice job. That's how I work. Jus do it baby. Get it done. But I'm just a tinkering geezer. Somebody's always got a better way. And I usually could've done better myself. Hindsight is 20/20.

I always do headers doubled up, on TOP of the posts and use metal t's to secure. But I also live in Wyoming and need the extra roof loading capacity.

Great stuff, Brock! I live two hours from the closest person I know, so everything I build or do, is done solo. It's always good to see how other people do stuff. Sometimes I learn new things, sometimes I learn how not to do something. 😄 I like the way you do things: To your satisfaction. That's all that matters.

Great job as always! Don’t be too “manly” to wear a big floppy hat and sunscreen to protect against the sun. It’s absolutely brutal out there and way more intense than those before us experienced. My dad was like that and eventually got skin cancer on his face from it. The sun ages you quickly too. We only get one crappy meat vessel to make it through this life, have to take care of it!
