So funny story with my first tamed quetz, I killed one so I can revive it at the obelisk, and once I got enough amber to do so, as I hit it with a toxic arrow, it flies downward into the wall, allowing me to tranq it without chase. It’s level was in the mid 20’s, and one more stupid thing I did. I completely forgot that it likes rex kibble, and I let it sit there in my preserving bin. And it’s STILL in my bin. One regular raw meat and balm took about 32 percent, and it eats real slow, so prepare for it well! Edit: the way you tamed that quetzal was the same way I tamed my first spino btw. It was starving and was eating everything until 90% where it was eating like normal.

Here is a tip for schwalbe and for you guys to. If your Quartzal falls in the water get the Equus then make a laso swing it on the unconsios Quartzal then pull it out of the water then you saved it. So good luck

For anyone thinking of trying this, if your Argy is too fast and does too much damage just open up the parachute while hooked to your Argy. It will slow you down to the same speed as the quetz.

i tamed a quetzal on my own way 1.i tamed a tapejara 2.i make sure the tapejara is following me 3.make it target the quetzal 4.change seats on the tapejara (front seat) 5.if the tapejara is following the quetzal all you have to do is shoot it with tranq arrows i hope this helps for those who cant do schwalbe's way of taming a quetzal lmao schwalbe is a GOD schawlbe is the only one who can do this trick btw nc vidd 👌 i love it

Turn up your volume, fly along the river north of Redwood and you should be able to hear squeaky sounds from otters, then simply jump off and swim around to find. :)

you know you can easily tame it by using tapejara, the method is you sit on the passenger sit on your tapejara while in air and make your tapejara follows you so it wont be land when you sit on the passenger sit, then you can go close to the quetzal and start shooting it, easy

I find jumping off argy deploying parachute and then grapple to argy so u don’t just fall so quick and parachute helps a lot for shooting at quetz also

I have a new method of doing the lava cave, when you enter the cave, you turn left, and then you turn right. Cross the bridge and go straight. Go straight and jump from land mass to another going straight. Then turn left, after that, turn right. Go straight and then go left. Go straight and jump to the other side. Then you basically go right and you go left and then there is the artifact where you have to jump

Well, I used the Tapejara method and it took me WAY MORE tranqs to the arse than he should had, but well, he was tamed. He took all my kibble (I only got two) in one feeding with a normie soothing balm. And I used the saddle I got from the Hunt: Argentavis pursuit.
