Any Conan players playing Soulmask? How are you guys liking it?

The devs for Soulmask are really responsive to the community. They have already banned a bunch of cheaters and even released a list of them, lol. All PvP games will have cheaters, but it's about how the devs handle the issue that matters. Also, working on a Conan video too. It's about 40% done.

Cool game, the parry system is awesome I wish conan had that, and the follower mechanics is so good too. The game also looks like conan but like with modes add on it. Great video, great game, keeping going my dude

Your vid concept works very well also in soul mask! I’m definitely going to follow any thing you publish from this game. Tried the demo, but the game didn’t really do it for me. I think it was because there where no PvP. Gonna try it again now that it’s early access.

In one on ones locking on is a huge advantage man, your character will guide the attacks to it, like for example the spear throw if you are locked on and they move as youre throwing your character will adjust and 9/10 it hits them

good to see a 2 hand greatsword, the spin to win move from it is just appealing 😅, just an observation the 2 hand swords looked OP... nice vid not too aggressive on asking viewers a like and subscribe, if its good then people just go for it without anyone enticing for them to do it....

Haha I was so bad with the great sword, just ended up spamming the spin attack. I would love to see a skilled great sword player using it, I'm sure they could be a real menace in PvP.

I didn’t watch any content about soul mask at all, i‘m on console… no early access for me anyways. 🤷‍♂️ Conan also left some scorched earth for sure. But i have to say i am definitely looking forward to more soul mask on your channel! Great work as usual, and very entertaining! 🫶 Maybe i will check it out once it hits consoles. 🤘

Very active so far. I have had to spend over an hour waiting to get back into my server cause it's always at max capacity 50/50.

Hey brother, I am using Conquest for PvP and it seems like it's the best one for PvP. Conquest - Better for combat (more damage) Civilization - Better for being a tank (more defense + HP recovery) Rich - Better for archery and crafting. Hope that helps!

Conquest Mask is better for Solo Players PVE or PVP, because it gives u a pasive skill wich alert you whenever a hostile creature or tribe is about to attack you, also it gives you tons of buffs for melee combat, Civilization Mask give you defense and Hp recovery buffs , Rich Mask give you hunting and archer skills but mostly skills oriented to crafting . Keep in mind that bows are weak in this game and throwing weapons wichare better can get buffs from the Conquest Mask too

The PvP combat is definitely very clunky right now. It's still in the PvP testing stage though, gotta give it time till it smoothens out with future updates.

Oh man, yeah. That was easily my least favorite thing about the combat. It’s ok for PvE, but it needs some fine tuning for PvP. Can’t be getting stun locked for 5 full seconds and losing almost all of your HP. Maybe 2 seconds so your opponent can capitalize with a special attack, but then be able to roll out.

For PvP, I think so. Way too long of a punishment. Most of the time you’ll be up against multiple players at once and they’ll be able to finish you off with just a single knockdown. Maybe tone it down to a 2 second knock down instead. The blocking player will still have enough time to safely use their special attack at least once as a reward for doing a perfect block.

I havent played this yet but here are my first impressions: the graphics look nice. the ui looks nice, but the HUD is too cluttered with useless information, less is more in these kinds of games. the health and stamina bar are small, far apart, and in a bad spot despite these two bars being the most important thing on the HUD lol. The attack animations are extremely janky looking which is a big turn off. the damage numbers are nice but they take up too much of the screen real-estate much like the ui. with all that being said, the game looks impressive for early access.

Love this game since its so heavily inspired by conan, but my 2 complaints are the parry system is too easy with no downside if you miss. Most games a parry is high risk high reward because if you miss you get hit hard, in this game if you miss the parry you still block so you dont really lose anything for missing it just a little health. And when you do hit it, its basically a guaranteed kill as your opponent just can't move forever. And my second complaint is the time to kill is way too fast with unreliable healing. Love that for honorable 1v1s but if someone gets the drop on you they can do 75% of you health before you even know you're in a fight. And that then brings 2v1ing really difficult because one mistake loses you the entire fight. But this games still pretty enjoyable regardless, once they iron out the kinks i think this can be a great conan competitor!

Oh yeah, the parry system definitely needs some work. I like your suggestion of there being a consequence if you miss your parry. I would say they should also tone down the duration of the knock down cause it's way too long... maybe 2 seconds instead of 5. And regarding the length of the fights, I'm hoping that maybe once you have mid/end game gear that the fights last a little bit longer too. Not sure if it'll make a difference though since I have only PvP'd in primitive gear.

you are no match to high lvl gear players... xD In SM. It is the gear what you got what makes you Op and the mask ability,.. so you cant kill high lvl players at all. I know this I was in all beta´s there Is far different as in Conan
