We tried this the other night and on the second last run to kill the tentacles the reapers just starting attacking us from a very far distance even tho we all had cactus broth on, we then died real quick as without light pets the reapers were far too tanky, might try again with a few tames and light pets as the strategy was good up until that point

Happy to say we did it the next night on official Beta with 6 spinos and although it was a bit more hectic with more orbs we did manage to do it apart from my bro who somehow got anti mesh killed at the start lol. will defo try your method again tho as it was easier.

This can't be so easy??? I'm doing second playthrough if the series. Last time i played through aberration solo i had to cheat because my armor broke so i made myself invulnerable do the balls won't damage me on the mounts because i really didn't wanna lose all my reapers i grinded for the fight, it has always bothered me, i don't feel like i deserve the alpha aberrant implsnt and i wanna do it 100% fair this time. My initial plan was to ride a drake and only shoot the balls while setting reapers destroy the tentacles. But i think thats what i did last time and failed, maybe i also shot tentacles and thats how i got hit by the balls, don't really remember.

I can’t believe I’m just now learning about this strategy considering it’s apparently so widespread. I never really bothered with Rockwell myself because I’m solo on Official Console and I didn’t really have enough confidence trying it alone with all of the lag and potential crashing. I already done most of the other fights alone myself excluding Overseer, King Titan, and Master Controller, but this a new level of challenge. I’m a big fan of challenging single player content so this is going to be a fun project for me to practice on a private server until I feel I’m ready to try on Official. Also one question. Does the armor of the flak reduce the damage from the balls? Nice and to the point video btw.

Flak doesnt reduce dmg from balls, but it has the highest dura at a really low cost (compared to riot set). If you have a good shotgun you can do it on alpha. Besides that, singleplayer bosses are easier than actual official ones. This vid is from a privated server which works as official, so would be even easier on singleplayer. Easiest boss fight on Ark!

This is the best video I have found on explaining this route, but there's still something missing that no one tells you. What level Flak do you need for it? Or does it not matter due to the fact of the cactus broth? To anyone that hasn't figured it out. The shotgun needs to be 250% or better to use.

Hey! Yes at this point there are plenty of comments where I say 250%+ about shotgun. Flak doesnt matter too much because you wont be fighting dinos and if u shoot the rad ball properly u wont get hit. Even tho, I recommend taking the best armor you have just in case, but yea its highly doable with prim flak too

Electric balls spawns ONLY if you have a dino there or when rockwell goes up. Anyways its just 1 hit on each ball to pop

I assume you both playing singleplayer. Its a common issue getting your stuff wiped as you are ascending which means completing the game and going to extinction (if we are following the lore). When you are playing on a server, you are able to spawn as normal with all the stuff you had on the boss fight.

Thanks mate! Well, if you are going to that terminal to start the boss fight then you need light pet to prevent nameless spawn. But once you enter the arena, you cant have light pets as reapers/nameless will aggro even if you eat the cactus broth. So yea, you can leave the pet at base, or start it on a drop instead of that terminal, or kill the pet, or whatever. The video guide is for rockwell fight, not about how to save light pets 😂

I mean you can just enter the arena on god mode in singleplayer, so you can test the shotgun/ammo safely. Just be sure to disable singleplayer settings which made bosses easier
