And here we are again. Great achievement and a huge inspiration! We yearn for 6:20 :) Now there are a couple of questions for you: Should we wait for w1z1 speedrun update as Anet royally screwed us removing the rock for the first pixel jump? How did you set up your timer to automatically stop at boss kill (or is it just insane reaction time)?

I add my timers using premiere pro and look for the frame I start the movement on and the frame the boss dies to end the timer on. For w1z1 there are a few routes to get out of bounds before 1st checkpoint but none of them are fast enough to be used on a speedrun (around 5ish seconds time loss). For speedrunning I'm guessing the fastest route to go OOB is after 1st checkpoint but I'm not really motivated to make a run with it. My this years w1z1 run uses 0 out of bounds routes and I'll probably keep it unlisted since its only a 2:17.

never can hit that jump at 0:51.. I hit the wall and jump up but my character never makes the 2nd jump up the ledge..

The wall jump and 90 degree left turn you need to back up against the wall behind you, jump first then press forwards so you get the first wall jump higher into your jump arc then turn left after the wall jump. The 2nd 180 degree wall jump is just spam jump harder and good mouse control.

The room at 1:24 is the most annoying part, I hope I can get it done better with the Dodge you performed, but I got a feeling it won't be that easy

Oh boy the way I did it is NOT beginner friendly at all. You should check the double potion version of it from older runs. That one is magnitudes easier

Its The Rescues- Don't Dream Its Over. I highly recommend the show called "Pantheon" where I found out the song for the first time.

Gg for that one! will you reupload a new wr for W1Z1 as the first skip is no longer available? i myself managed to do it but i need a minute to skip where previously it took 20 seconds, or wiil it be faster to just no skip at all?

I think for speedrunning the fastest route would be skipping after 1st checkpoint, but there are easy skips before that that lead to the same place as the old skip did, they are just "slower"
