Metric sizing is fairly accurate, be honest about your measurements, height / chest. Trousers are tricky, remember most if this is made for fit young men, waist size is important for older bigger guys, when in doubt go larger.( w 100cm = 40" -example.) height / inseam are usually on the money.

Is looser fit lge better for layering mobility etc

I think that would be a personal choice, many people do select a larger fit to enable an insulation layer beneath. Or some just like it fitted during warmer temperatures.

Hi, I am Large Regular in a American field jacket which nato size is the equivalent I’ve tried the 80/112 and it was too long and a bit Loose. Thanks 🙏

I think you mean 180/112? It's difficult to say without you being here. I would probably look for a 170/104 or something smaller than the 180/112. Sorry, it's difficult to do this without seeing you in person.

@@soggz4246 thanks so much! I have tried the 60/104 size and fits like medium. definitely the 70/112 is my fit.

@@elgatoremendado1115 How tall are you in CM? I bought the 180/96 and it works to wear but a bit too long for me… I’m 179cm
