Sadly, mum passed a few years ago so now I have a SWB Vivaro B which I converted into Viv-i-van, my camper. Not been out camping in her due to various unforseen circumstances, but I will soon. ​@LoveSundays . Hi I watch your channel a lot and I'm looking for my first camper. What the dealers don't say is that even though it's got an mot, or will have a new mot there are still advisories. I've used a number plate checker to bring up past mots and there are some real horror stories. A motorhome I looked at had advisories for the last 7 years but still had a full mot. It seems motorhomes are worse than vans in that respect. Could you pass this onto your viewers and tell them to check the mot history of any vehicle they're buying. The crazy thing is it can fail on a chipped windscreen but get an advisory for rust on the chassis which if left untreated can be expensive. Thanks.

Looking fantastic out there. In 4 weeks I’ll be down there for a couple of days. I bought a sunjoe portable power washer. Good for washing your sandy equipment or taking a shower. Good if you also have a pop up shower stand.

Have run along that footpath a few times in the morning and seen similar night stoppers in their pj’s having a morning coffee 🙂 Nice views, but like you say, quite a bit of thru traffic. I’d prefer the car park on the headland towards the castle - a lot quieter, although I suspect you get a few rogue visitors!

Yea it’s got everything I need without being too big and difficult to park. I’d quite like a sprinter tbh but I think I’d use is less due to no being able to park it anywhere

Have just found you fellow Kernow dweller. Going to enjoy watching your videos for a while & reminiscing on our van days. A lot of the same spots. were told once we should start a youtube channel back then. We did it for 5 years almost in our 3.5t Teal Box Luton self converted with a porcch with bannister rails, stained glass windows and window box but looked like an argos delivery van without logo when roller down. We woulda done well on youtube but didn't have a clue about it. ironically we start with one of the many I's in this one body in the Psych ward at long reach pool lol, its been 2 yrs 8 months since psych ward allowing our very vulnerable process to be witnessed by others as well as and primarily for us and almost 7 years since we had to leave our most wonderful Yihny & van life behind. we did bookkeeping accountancy with care support worker with autism on side and had our amazing black cat Takoda with us but he passed after our physical health took a serious turn, couldn't drive yihny anymore & the grief catalysed a long list & the deep healing we'd been waiting for commenced. coming out of the tunnel slowly now in disbelief kinda about so much but at same time not as we understand the paradoxs and mysteries of the multiverse. so feel a binging coming on to revisit a lot of memories as we used to go from falmouth, porthtowan, penzance, newquay, helston and all in between with some trips further afield! I've given up my flat sold the car and currently living off grid in a stealth camper. No bills! Feels great. Detached from the hustle and bussel. I work but nobody has noticed. Shower in the motorway services and laundry at revolution laundry (the ones in petrol stations. Saving £1000 per month on rent and bills. Theres an app called park for free thats handy. One year from now I should have enough for a deposit then first mortgage. Loving the freedom though. Might rent my first place out.

Loving the content Shaun. Highly recommend the cafe at the bottom of the beach, Castle Beach Cafe. The new owner Emily and her team have been have been smashing out some top quality grub! Highly recommended!

The road dropping away to the kerb is the same the world over, if your stealth camping it’s a dead giveaway parking with your wheels on the kerb, I have a couple of 6in 4x2s of wood to put under one side of the bed. When I’m stealth camping I scope my spot out during the day, park at a park and do the cooking / washing up, then on dusk park in my spot for the night, in my country there are council rangers that can come around at any time of night (that’s in the popular beach side places), my way of doing thing is to scope out a quite spot to sleep, normally in a light industry area, then spend the day at the beach side spot with the views and cafes for a meal, then have a quite night sleep in at my other spot, i did that for a week in one place with million dollar view’s during the day and quite nights sleep with no hassles and no parking fines.

It was like that when I got it but not sure if it was originally built like that. Normally when’s there’s a cage behind the drivers seat that means that there probably was never a bull head from factory

Yea it’s a good van had a few issues with it like oil leaks and turbo occasionally not working but I guess that’s what you get when you only pay £3000 for a van
