UPDATE A subscriber contacted me on the channel and stated the rim I removed while demonstrating the heat deflector allowed it to slide into the Yukon so the rim (if that's what it's called) needs to stay on in order for the heat deflector to stay in place. I tested this tonight and with the rim the heat deflector stays in place. So I wanted to share this right away. I love the heat deflector! @mfield2517 thank you

I received the Yukon last fall and stored it outside in an Ohio winter with the shelter/stand. The Yukon looks and performs the same as when I covered it. I purchased the heat deflector last night and am excited to receive it. Great review!

I know it gets expensive but it's amazing how many accessories this company has made for their fire pits thanks for watching Alex I always appreciate your support

Nice 👍 It's cold here, currently 11 degrees and got a snow storm coming Wednesday all through Thursday. Possible 10-15 inches of snow with winds of 50 mph. I'll finally get to see what the Ego 2 - stage can do.

Is this your first time putting it in action?

Great video with a couple of caveats. I know another commenter said you shouldn't have removed the "rim", It's actually called the "Fire Ring" and should remain on at all times no matter what accessory you are using, with one possible exception being the lid when you're storing it. Also, the Yukon is NOT the largest of the solo fire pits. The Canyon is. It has a 30" opening and is only sold in retail stores, not offered on the Solo website. Otherwise, very professional, very nicely produced video. 2 👍👍 for quality and thoroughness.

Wow! This a very nice but expensive video! Solo products are very nice. I have the Tiki Brand version which I’m very happy with. It’s much less expensive but they don’t have all the additional accessories that Solo does.

Are you talking about the lid? Or the optional cast iron accessory?

you stated that you want to bend the leg on the heat deflector you do not have to do that if you had left the rim on in video 1859
@TechMadeEzy Жыл бұрын
Well thank you, you are correct I tried that and it worked. Thanks so much

Hi, I think you have made an error when reviewing the heat deflector. Prior to putting it on you removed the rim. Have a look again at the diagram and you will see that the rim is actually left on. You don’t have to “bend legs’ and it won’t drop in. Many thanks and best regards.

Might as well buy an outdoor kitchen by the time you've added all the accessories on to be able to use it safely and properly.

I hear you they definitely add up I know they run some crazy sales where you can get like bundles so take a look at the solo stove website but I totally understand where you're coming from
@richardc1983 Жыл бұрын
@@TechMadeEzy it reminds me of a washing machine drum. I think they are good and they are clean burning but the heat deflector is a must as is the stand yet these are not included.

The company should have sold the assesories with the unit🤔
@TechMadeEzy10 сағат бұрын
Hi They do make many bundles
@supadupa79016 сағат бұрын
