Solo queue is looping long enough for at least 3 gens being done, then seeing all your teammates walking or crouching around with kindred. Makes me so mad because every killer game I play I get gen rushed, but when I play survivor all I get is potatoes

it's normal, that happens because you play survivor in solo q and they don't. Any player with middle experience knows well how painfull solo q is and so play only in parties, as such they can easily genrush. Instead players with less experience belive they can manage to play alone and are very individualistic. If you play solo q you're more likely to find other solo q players and not parties. This dectates how your game will be.

It can be very strong in certain situations, say against some poor legion who is trying to injure everyone only for them to just heal up using boons but when there is one survivor dead and you know that there is only a few gens left and another survivor being chased, you shouldn't fucking waste time on a boon and instead just do the damn gen so hopefully everyone escapes. Do you get that? Time and place.

Solo Q is an amazing experience. Was against the Twins on Midwich. We got three gens done (all done by myself) and I also picked up two people when the Twins tried slugging (had to run to the other side of the map to help). Twins were new too. Could've been an easy win. Bad killers work hard, but by God bad teammates work harder.

that last one I think was reasonable, it's really hard to tell when someone has kinship, and i can understand the claudette rescuing you there (she even waited a little bit to make sure the spirit had gone away). They probably should have focused on doing gens but it's not like they were off crouching behind a bush or hiding in the basement. Still, that match would've gone way different if you were all on comms, and is a great example of why a 4 man swf if *so* much better than 4 solo survivors

I have started running kindred every game, even when I’m in a two man swf. It has really proved to be unironically the best survivor perk. Great for not messing up around saves or camping, good for chasing at times, finding other survivors on gens. Just all around great perk that gives you value in clutch situations simply by the perk’s design

i’m always a solo survivor and i really do feel the pain you’re having otz. it really sucks when your teammates don’t help you out and don’t do gens, the whole point of survivors is to work together to escape. i haven’t even been playing for the event because of teammates like this. there are a few that help out but i feel like it’s not as common as it should be. i always try to help my teammates and get gens done. literally haven’t played in a month or so, maybe gonna play again soon before the event ends but not making any promises side note: love watching you play tho! love your vids otz keep it up :)

That a perfect solo queue experience for you , getting chased by killer all alone by yourself no one even trys to help you, no one taking protection hits and if you are unlucky enough to get caught the killer will definitely camp you till death no one comes to get you off the hook most of the time . If you are lucky enough that the killer decide to leave you the heck alone for sometime don't worry you have to complete three gens on you own to get out meanwhile your teammates are doing some other interesting things like hiding in lockers /the edge of the map ,doing boons ,plundering chests and on top of that there chase ends in a flash they just die like fly or teammates get you killed by leading killer towards you or body block you to get you killed so that she can get out by hatch or gate sad life of solo queue survivor

I've had to drop spine chill from my usual load out because it encourages an unhealthy playstyle in me. Pretty much whenever it lights up, even for a second,I think it's time to dash. But sometimes you just gotta stick to that gen a bit longer and escape when the time is right. Good info, but it turns me into a big scaredy cat.

Imo spine chill's main benefit is countering stealth killers and helping you run early. I used to run it religiously but I recently swapped it for other perks. The best info perk for solo survivor IMO is Kindred

Then don't run away as soon as it lights up? I always wait for a few seconds before leaving a gen and that's only if it stays on for a long time.

I'm impressed your solo q survivors actually try to save you on hook 8/10 times they don't even acknowledge me and i end up going thru all 3 hook stages, the fact this happened so often has me really paranoid of losing Heath states when playing survivor

I feel like the solo survivor experience can be encapsulated by my last game on midwich. Where, not the two healthy people with no hooks, but the only injured person who was on death hook came to try to rescue me on my first hook, died, and then I ended up dying on my first hook.
