The other day we played a Survivor match against a very unlucky Bubba that was essentially given a pallet tour of the entire RPD East Wing. I wasn't going to upload this match, but I thought some people might benefit from the information showcased!

@@Pikwii on top of the FOV, pallet stun region is already bigger than the pallet is, which normally is a good thing for the sake of ping, but it makes stuns look really off for Killers.

its not that you're actually too far away its that your FOV makes it SEEM like you're too far away when in reality you're in the zone to be stunned. just gotta get used to it@@nighthawk8069

ngl when killers hard tunnel and proxy camp I’m basically always like ‘welp enjoy the MMR you wanted so much enjoy the matches (like the one portrayed here) against survivors where those tactics aren’t as magical’ That’s why I don’t worry about kills particularly as I try to keep evolving my game sense and and decision making in chases/game stages. It keeps me in better brackets for practicing until my overall ability can consistently carry it. ETA: this bubba was a great sport though. wish them good brutal matches going forward

Yes, the west part of East Wing becomes a huge awful deadzone once a few pallets have been removed if the Killer has a 3-gen there. Huge risk, but it never happened here.

We’ve all been there and made those mistakes; concocting excuses about inevitability just stunts self awareness and thus growth and fun

In RPD the map will either generate with mostly the left side opened up, or the right (from the front entrance). You should definitely prefer to play on the correct side if you want a long chase since the other side will have way less resources. The back exit gate and basement entrance will also be on the left/right side depending on which version of RPD you got. You can tell which side you are from the front gate if you go over to the outdoor staircase and the helicopter crash is accessible. If it is blocked by debris then you have the left version, if you make it to the helicopter crash you have the right version. Also keep in mind that hatch can spawn both upstairs and downstairs on RPD.

This happens when you don't use your perks. Bubba had a nice builld, but never used it. It's ok to stop chasing one survivor and surprise the others, it's a 4v1 not a 1v1.

I love rpd too, I greed god pallets and then move to filler pallets (saving the God pallets after the fillers are all gone). Check spots on this map are insane too. This map is strong, I wish all the pallet locations are fixed for some of other maps too.

Hey. I’m on console and I have trouble spotting crows any tips. If I adjust my tv brightness it will mess up my other games, and I use color blind settings. It’s usually darker maps I have trouble on

Sometimes you just gotta look at a chase and go "nah" and go look for another opportunity elsewhere. Remember this: You can control survivors, but survivors can't control you. Use this to your advantage.

Looks pretty good i'd say. Survivor looks good, but has terrible perks that will hopefully get buffed. Killer is arguably one of the better ones we've had recently with good visuals, good music, mid--to-good perks and has a very fun power that's got skill to it and has some counterplay (i'm still unsure about whether it's just good or possibly even a little too strong, time will tell) overall good package for sure

any surv player that thinks this is a bad map is talking out their ass in spectacular fashion (a common occurrence), it is probably the most powerful map in the game for survs not only is it infested with safe/god pallets for typical killers but it also inherently hardcounters the two S-tier killers in the game that have dominated the meta for years

I COMMENTED THIS ELSE WHERE BUT I HAVE A GREAT IDEA FOR A PIG REWORK! So what if instead of having to search jigsaw boxes a survivor with a re beartrap on had to do something that actively hindered other survivors like using a special prompt that regress gens on purpose, or do something that specifically helps the pig out, of course their motivation would be the threat of death, essentially turning any one with a re bear trap on into an temporary ally which also would make her the most anti tunnel killer in the game as you would want the bear trap survivors to be active, thought it was cool

I find it funny that this map is so "consistant", yet still probably the hardest map, and most disliked for both survivors and killers. There are several spots where I personally always get tricked from auras. Thinking I'm super close to something, I go straight for it, but it turns out I actually needs to take like three turns to actually get there.

I remember when i use to play billy every now and then and when i got rpd i literally never used my power and had to play as a bare m1 killer basically lol this was old billy btw so it was even worse When u think about it it kind of sucks that a killer can only be really fully utilized on like maps? Maybe 3 the farm and the auto yard are the ones that come to mind
