I don’t have zhoulis bane but I have a rapid hit/incandescent igneous hammer. Is that still good or is explosive payload a must?

120 rpm hand cannons in pve are not my favorite. If you can enhance incandescent on your igneous, I would give it a go if that's all you have. Otherwise, I would recommend Luna's howl or another incandescent weapon

Why is it when I hit an overload with DB he just full heals through the explosion but when I see runs like this the overloads just stand there and never regen

Pop ‘em with an overload shot or two while they’re stunned & staggered with DB, the overload shots prevent regeneration.

@scalf_ I know. In the room with the three waves there's a point where he gets the overload low and goes around the corner for 3 or 4 seconds. If I am not continuously shooting OL shots they teleport and instant regen pretty much everytime. Sometimes even when I am shooting overload they regen through it

@Gebus1998 The slow from chill clip on the sniper stuns overloads as well. The part you're talking about, I applied slow to the overload, which delayed his health regen

is grandmaster as hard as my friend makes it seem, he says ill never be able to do it, u need a max level best players in the world fireteam and he makes it sound like it has a lower survival rate than the actual D-DAY, he carries me in alot of high level stuff and when im playing with him i feel like the enemies hit way harder than this and even feels harder than what im looking at, obviously im underleveled and only rank 5. So now that i look at this, is it really that extreme as i hear?

If you've never done a solo grandmaster, then the experience might be as your friend described. If you're with a fireteam of 3, then I would say it is very doable unless you all are inexperienced.

This build but with calibans instead, i agree celestial is great for damage, but you can stack scorch with DB and the gauntlets to get some big ignition damage out. Think about all the ad clear
