I guess they think because they're going on a speed they don't want to stop the their ride downhill... Sometimes you don't even hear them and it almost gives you a heart attack when they scream to you 🤣! Have a great week my friend 😊😊!

In the old days. The natives used to bend trees to show where water sources were.. google Native Americans and bending trees

Hello 👋 Deb, it was good to see a famous movie celebrity on T.R.T. When you were in Tahoe City, did you go to Rosie's Cafe for breakfast? I consider it the best breakfast spot in California. In your hike around Tahoe did you run in to 'Hank the Tank? He's a a black bear 🐻 that roams around the Tahoe area in search of food. Continued good things for you. Stay safe out there. 🤗

Thank you 😊😊! Actually, I'm not sure what caused it. Right on the final days. I think it was the extremely rocky trail in desolation wilderness. My next trail runner shoe will have a rock plate. Have a great week 🌳🌳🌳!

I would’ve been so scared hearing that bear breathe! You’re quite the celebrity on the trail. You have fans. Watch Mommy & Me Adventures. A Mom & her 7 yr old daughter are hiking the AT. So cool watching the little girl. They’ve hiked from GA to NJ so far.

LoL 😂! I think I'm easily recognizable 😂! I'll tell you, I was scared when I heard it right next to my tent 😱😱! I'll definitely check them out. I really love seeing the little ones on the trail 🤠🤠!

Nice first bear encounter. Some of the mountain bikers I have met on local trails are very courteous. Most come barreling through at full speed and I have to use my trekking poles to launch off the trail. Very frustrating! Town food. Yay! The struggle is real. On the PCT 😊

I'm really enjoying your journey. I was lucky to day-hike a few very short segments back in the mid 1980s before the entire trail was completed. The Tahoe area is near and dear to my heart so thank you for sharing your epic experiences there.

@@DebCampos The only difference I can see is a few more dead/dying trees, but even back then there were some. The views over the lake from Spooner are just as I remember them. Hope your week is great, too.
