Solo Travel in Scotland, visiting Balloch & Oban: Not the NC500

Those blinds have been great on this trip. On the wet and windy days they've kept us warm and on the hot days reflected that sunshine back out so we don't boil. Thank you for sticking around and watching my videos I really appreciate it! 😊

Thank you! Yes definitely give it a miss, not worth it even if you need ehu or a shower. Highly recommend getting a permit for Firkin Point though. Right on the loch, £4/night, max 3 nights. Just lovely.

Ahhh,beautiful Scotland,Anjuli!I've been 8 times on Lochs & Glens holidays.My most favourite place in the whole world,apart from wherever my kittens are lol!🐱🧡.I've been to Oban and Fort William many times in all weathers and they're beautiful whatever the weather.Have a wonderful time!It's Natalie Search by the way,lol! 😆 x

Crikey £50 a night, I thought things were cheaper in the north, pleased the sunshine has found you and the scenery is amazing. Thanks again for sharing 🙏👍🍻

Unfortunately, it's a lot more touristy around Loch Lomond. I'd think it will be cheaper in the Highlands, on the West coast and the North East.

oh yeah it def was! The next place I stay at was £15/night (and much nicer!). I got totally ripped off and I don’t want it to happen to others!

Oh it was much cheaper in other places, this one was a total rip off and I want to make sure others don’t! It was very beautiful, especially when the sun was shining 😀

I came across your channel on KZbin and seen it said loch Lomond. I was curious to where you would go and I couldn’t believe you started in balloch. That’s where I live! I hope you had a great time exploring balloch and going on the loch 😊

I did! It's lovely there, and I came across it completely by accident when flicking through one of my os guide books. In fact, it's one of the places I've been looking at houses as a possible place to move to!
