yey thank you so much!! 💗 japan was my first country i visited solo in 2016, after that it gave me the confidence to travel to other countries! Japan is super safe even not knowing how to speak Japanese, google translate is super useful as well as google maps for navigation and train schedule

I travel alone, I'm a female, and it's often not always positive. I'm quite small, and young looking so ppl think they can treat me a certain way, although I am much older than I look. I speak several languages well, and several more conversationally but not Japanese so do worry about travel there as there isn't much English but would love to go there.

Aww I’m sorry about your negative experience😞 You know, Japan was my first ever solo country I visited and me too didn’t speak the language and that’s ok. I used google translate and some basic japanese phrases otherwise, I speak in english and they understand and try to help to the best of their ability. Don’t let the language barrier stop you from going places, you got this!💖

very nice! just in time for cherry blossom season 🌸 I felt safe walking at night, I try to be home by 9-10pm (12 am is the last train) I really liked my stay at JR West group in Shinjuku~ close to the station, modern, comfy and reasonably priced!

Great that you travel alone and enjoy it! It’s not for everyone, but noticing some of the extreme reactions of people to me going solo for a week is just madness. Culture has to change towards people / women doing stuff solo.
