Solo travelling and hiking around Madeira | Pico Grande | Pico Ruivo | São Lourenço | Fanal Forest |

Inspiration for travelling and hiking Madeira were “silent hiking” videos of Kraig Adams and Harmen Hoek. Their videos have emotional music, stunning views, unbelievable drone shots and “something” that changed me since I discovered both channels.
When I was a small kid, maybe 9 years old, I was already messing around with my parents TV and VHS equipment. Recording programs, scanning new channels, reconnecting everything one way and another, the best time in my life, free and truly happy. Later when the first simple cameras were available I was recording and editing some videos, again a great feeling doing all of this. Old computers struggling to edit that “poor” quality, great memories. Unfortunately the time to “grow up” came and I lost that “spark”.
17 years later Kraig and Harmen appeared on my KZbin suggestions. Since then I wanted to know how it feels to travel and record videos, so I decided to follow their steps in Madeira. All what you are about to see in this video I own them and my childhood “spark”.
New chapter of my life has just begun.

Hi! Thank you and sorry for the late response. Regarding car rental you have two options: 1. Depending on the area try with local companies but check google reviews. 2. “Well” known companies are available at the airport but with lots of complaints and issues. I stayed at Machico and a few days earlier found “Triple 777 Rent a car” on Google Maps. Contacted Carlos who is the owner and got an email that a car will be waiting for me near his office. The experience with service was excellent, no issues, no problem with returning the car back, and deposit is not required if you pay a bit more to have a full cover policy (in my case was €40 for 6 days). I can highly recommend Carlos in Machico city, the world should have more people like him.
