Picturesque, and it looks so clean. Keep em coming, and I look forward to seeing you up the valley real soon.

Definitely one of the cleanest Balkan countries I visited! Thanks for watching and looking forward to seeing you next week!!

I see you couldn't resist including a short drone flight! Look forward to when you can upload more drone footage. Bet you found returning to the middle of an NZ winter a bit of a shock to the system after 30 degrees!

Haha yes had to slip in a few drone vids! The temperature change was a bit of a shock to start with, but I'm getting used to it now! Only one week left in NZ now!

Great to see grape vines all over the place around Split Jared! That is the origin of the NZ wine industry right there. The original "Dalmatian" migrants - the gumdiggers - came from the area around Split and brought their love of wine with them. I wonder if there is any memory of that migration in Split? Our wines used to be submitted to wine judging in Ljubljana.

Ahh that's interesting to know! There were definitely a lot of vines everywhere around that area and in Slovenia as well!

You my friend need to get learn a lot. Calling Slovenia a Balkan country, calling the capital of Croatia Zagreeb. Ridiculous.
@onthetrailnz5 ай бұрын
That's awesome you're trying to learn English 😂 Every published atlas, Google Maps and Apple Maps list the capital of Croatia as Zagreb. I realise Balkan people like to argue with their neighbours about everything, but is it really worth dragging a New Zealander into the debate?! And Slovenia is a Balkan, although this is just another point Balkan people like to argue about - so many arguments!!

@@onthetrailnz Zagreb yes, but not Zagreeb. You pronounced this ee like i in Madrid. Balkan is a Turkish name for the mountain in Bulgaria. Some German idiot decided to call the whole region that name in the 19th century. Both Turks and Germans are just the occupiers in the region. Whoever uses the name Balkan for the region and the people od the region is doing it in a derrogatory manner. Shame on you ignorant.

Congratulations on being arrogant enough to be the first comment that KZbin has held for review and flagged as inappropriate!! As far as the pronunciation of Zagreb goes, here is a place name from my home country: Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateaturipukakapikimaungahoronukupokaiwhenuakitanatahu It would be great if you wanted to send through an audio recording of you saying that so I can critique. Or you could try Te Kuiti if you want an easier one. Thanks for sharing your view on being called Balkan and I'm sorry if you found it derogatory. I know quite a few people from the Balkans who proudly call themselves Balkan people. I'm lucky to have met them - it's good to know that there are good people in the region as well.

@@onthetrailnz You continue being offensive. Do as you wish. I don’t care if someone is not happy cause I don’t accept occupation. Including KZbin. People who accept occupation are called kvislings. I tried to help you pronouncing Zagreb correctly. If your mission is to never do it, it is also fine.

@@onthetrailnz The easiest thing in the world is to report someone on social media and take him down. You reporting me is not something you should be proud of. Especially because my ancestors died for our freedom and you are reporting our right to sovereign existence. Be careful what side of history you are taking here.
