Your video today really struck a cord with me. I am a 54 year old grandmother, who has Asperger’s, and I suffer from anxiety pretty much 24/7 so I know exactly how you feel, my darling girl. I now understand that my anxiety is a natural part of who I am and that I am finding ways to help manage it, not for other people’s sake (except for those I love and care for) but for my own happiness and health. But please, please, please remember this...you and your lovely vlogs are a big positive kind of mental health and wellness event for a lot of us who watch you. You bring a sweet and lovely and gentle face to feelings that many of us deal with; self doubt and anxiousness and help us feel less alone, less weird, less helpless at times. I know you probably may not always realize it but, (and I think that based on all the lovely comments I have read, I can say this with some impunity) you are our favourite KZbinr, hands down. I wish you could see yourself through our hearts and eyes, you would see a pretty amazingly awesome, lovely and beautiful person who despite dealing with what must be crippling anxiety, you still put yourself out there, you make your lovely videos (oh and by the way, the editing and style of your videos just keep getting better and better), so give yourself a huge pat on the back, a huge hug from all of us, and I hope tomorrow and every day after is better and better for you. I've always kind of had anxiety, it was worst in my teens and then it settled down a bit but the last few weeks it has been so bad, it really felt nice to remind myself that I'm not the only one who gets like this. Thank you for reminding me that a lot of people have it and I'm not alone.

I recently had to have a professional photo taken for my business and it was a horrendous process for me. I'm such a perfectionist and found it hard to try and not pick out every little flaw! Poor you Rhiannan, anxiety and self doubt is a terrible burden. I have friends and family members who also struggle like you do. I have my moments also. I think what makes it more difficult for people like you and I is the perfectionist in us! I don't know about you but I get frustrated because (i.e. Christmas,) we pride ourselves on being very organised and feel we have it all in hand and then bang! Something doesn't quite go as we planned it and 'the wheels fall off the barrow', as the saying goes. It seems that we then spend the time afterwards living inside our own heads, worrying about who noticed, who cared and was judging me, what's the point in trying........... guaranteed thence follows a lot of soul searching, mirror staring comparing ourselves to others and back around again. Thank goodness for Doug, Delilah and family members that you can trust to do what good friends do and 'be there!'. Lots and lots of love and hugs from Scotland. Everything passes, good and bad.
