Nope. Founded by Evan Hafer in SLC, UT. Evan was in my unit in the NG. Mat Best and the crew invested in the company and they eventually moved primary operations to TX. The original is still here - 1144 500 W, Salt Lake City, UT 84101. I used visit them routinely to pickup orders as opposed to having it mailed back in the 2015 timeframe - Long before they moved offices. Hell, Mat had an office there back in the day. Regardless, good coffee.

You should pick up a torch lighter that attaches to a 1 lb. bottle. Its a game changer for starting fires. Also we love when you asked your dog. "Can you get up here"? He was all "hell ya" and jumped up .Love your videos and happy trails.

Excellent suggestion - I use those propane torches for starting campfires all the time, they're the best! I even bought a few of the torch heads to store in among my camp gear and in my vehicle just so I always have a spare - Coleman makes a small affordable one.

We went to 13 Texas State Parks last winter. It was a 3 month trip, they had the best parks. We were around the same area as you are at one time. Enjoy texas🤠🤠🤠😍.

That little portable fireplaces no bigger than a large candle and I don't think anyone would harass you for using that on your table. It's no more dangerous than your cooker you're using in my opinion. Great video Maria. Love this camp spot❤

As another herder breed, my corgi is always on my heels also. Very sketchy on steps. And yes, she gets stepped on too! Make sure you watch for ticks while hiking and getting back into your rig. They are soooo tiny and hard to see. I am so happy you two are back on the road. Happy trails!❤😊

Look up Lake McClellan, Texas ... we camped there a in 2019 and the lake was completely dried up, its in the middle of nowhere, it was beautiful, quiet, and peaceful!

I like sparkling water too. Also club soda. I'm an avid camper & I really enjoy the seeing all the different campsites you go to. The portable firepit was great. I'll look for one. Have you ever seen the stick stoves? They're tiny & made of titanium I believe. You just click all the sides together & it forms a square box. You put tiny sticks in to burn & keep feeding it as needed. You can cook on it too. When disassembled, it packs up flat & takes up no space at all.

My wife learned a foreign country traveling tip from her dad: Always pack a summer sausage and a box of Triscuits for evening snacks or in case you don't happen to find any food that agrees with you when you first arrive to your destination (my wife adds a little can of cheese whiz as well). It's come in handy for late night snacking back in our room on many occasions during our trips to Mexico

Hello , I use to live in Texas & Michigan. I Would check or watch for snakes in Texas . I use to let my dog Sunshine off a leash at Lower Huron Metro Park in Belleville, Michigan and I climbed across a log and Sunshine my Alaskan Malamute jumped across and she landed on a snake. We Love your Adventures and want you to be safe . Also like others are saying your a beautiful lady inside and out and and I agree about being aware of your surroundings. Love you Maria and Blue .

I've never cooked summer sausage on an open flame, but I've cooked venison sausage which is very similar on a campfire. It has the wrapper around it too. You should get a portable bug zapper for the skeeters. Nebo makes one called the Z-Bug Lantern + light. This is a battery powered LED light that you can use as a bug zapper or a lamp or both. it is safe to have around and it has a protective cover to keep folks or dogs from touching the zapper rails.

If you want to see the natural beauty of the hill country in all its glory go directly west. Lost Maples State Park and Garner State Park are two of the best in the state. They call that area between the two "the alps of texas". Highway 337 from Medina to Leakey is one of the best drives in all of Texas

New to the channel. Used to live in TX. The Texas state parks are awesome. I used to bike tour the Hill Country. My favorite parks are too numerous to comment. All of them I guess. South Llano River SP is one of them. Big Bend Ranch SP in Lajitas tops my list because of the epic mountain biking. Now we are outside Durango CO and love it.
