I was curious on how Awakened Battle Bracers will perform in the current Mists Meta, so I went and crafted and attuned one. I've got to say, it's incredible! The cooldown you get allows you to win against bad match ups, and even runaway from 8.4 awakened users.
But... I'm not so sure if I can recommend it though....
