Camp looked great with all of the lighting. Gotta try the soy sauce on the green beans. Nice job keeping it positive with the noise. I enjoy watching the video after the shorts. I can't imagine sleeping with larger dogs. Somehow, they end up in bed. They're so great, it's hard getting mad at them. Thanks for making our 2024 more enjoyable.

Never thought about going there when looking for Bald Eagles. Usually take that road on the north side of the river but the light isn't always the best. Another nice video Dave!

Really appreciate it Brad. The park Ranger told me that a lot of times he’ll have over 20 eagles along the river there. That trail that I was on, runs right along the river. And I think if you sat for a bit, it would be a really good spot. I’d be happy to go out there with you sometime. We could do a beer with Brad in the van!

It’s not always so easy to get away from road and/or train noise sometimes in the Midwest. It’s always a nice bonus when you end up in a place without. For outside cooking with an electric site it may be easiest to use another extension cord from the post. I carry a 30A adapter to connect a regular extension cord in case there’s a problem (or isn’t) with the 20A outlet. Happy holidays!

That's what I was doing, I probably should have showed that better! The past two camps I have had two extension cords, one for the van and one for the outdoor lights. I should probably find a better way to run power for the outside! I ended up using a power strip on top of the van, and then ran another extension cord down to the hot plate. I'm always worried about popping the breaker! Have you stayed at Louisville before?

Always great to hear from a fellow Nebraska camper! I'm happy to help! That was and is the main goal for my channel. Just trying to show folks what is out there. It doesn't have to be expensive to camp and we have a ton of great options right here in Eastern Ne and Western Ia. I'd really like to get a big group camp together in the near future, working on some logistics with all that! I hate letting people know about 'winter camping', I don't want to ruin it, but it is the best time of year to be out!

No, I didn't know they made one! I'm definitely going to look that up. I have been really impressed with the heater. I have been using cheap walmart ones for the past few years, this one is amazing! Appreciate the tip!!
