I don't comment to often, but your videos bring back so many memories for me . I lost my husband of 36 years three years ago this month. We enjoyed camping so much. Our first camper was a truck camper, gosh we had so much fun in that camper. every time you built a campfire, I can almost smell the smoke . You mentioned staying away from Teflon. Cast iron is the answer, and works great for over the fire, induction, or gas/eletric. Seasoned up it's not hard to clean either.

My son lives on the up of michigan and made me a campsite for when I visited. One night I heard weird noises that freaked me and my dog. I thought of big foot or unknown monsters. That sound puzzled me for many years. Untill i finally discovered what they were. Huskies. I told my son and we laughed. He lived far in the boondocks but a guy down the road raised huskies.
