Solo in Japan is a life changing experience. I took a 10 day solo there after my dad died a couple years ago and it was amazing. You experience so much if you're only relying on yourself in a completely foreign place and culture on the other side of the planet. Love the content, man. Keep it up.

Hi Dustin, this was so amazing. Just loved how you mentioned Nostalgia every time because this is what I exactly feel about Japan as well. I also grew up watching anime and Japanese garden documentaries, strangely! One thing about the bugs at night, you can add a net (which has a chain in the middle for you to get onto your bed) around the four corners of your van at the back door, have seen it in many vans and campers. Then you can keep the door open too and enjoy the night! Hope that helps!

Oh and Dustin just a reminder of the sliding door of the van you don't ha e to slam it to close the door if you just gently pull it to where it needs to be closed it closes on its own very softly.

Brother.... This is the type of content that makes KZbin and this world special. Truly being uncomfortable solo traveling across another country, appreciating and showing off the beautiful landscape, and most importantly you are showing how friendly the locals are and how they live life. Keep this up man because this is living at its purest form!

Man im such a big nature guy so I know the camera does no justice compared to the experience of being there. That view of the sun hitting the hills behind him at 14:57 was wild. The shot of the sunlight coming through the top of the water fall sold this whole video. Im loving these brother! What a refreshing change of pace from the usual content.

Love the series so much!! Anything japan related is awesome! One suggestion (if it doesn’t make editing take longer) would be English captions! I’d love to understand what you and others are saying. I think it could bring a little bit more polish (not that it’s needed!) to your Japan vids.

When i was at Zuihoden they were doing some painting and restoration on Masamunes shrine and a a worker opened the door to exit and I got to see his statue inside the shrine. My guide said it I was EXTREMELY luckey as its only open a few times a year, and has hour long waits. Definitely Japan highlight for me!
