In today's video, I take you guys along for my trip from Sapporo to Aomori. We take the ferry from the port in Hakodate to Aomori. Once we landed, we made our way to Hirosaki castle and it was one of the most beautiful places i've ever visited in Japan.

Glad you got that hot shower on the ship after getting turned away from the Onsen. You are right!, that castle was one of the most beautiful places I have seen in Japan. oh man I know how you feel. Japan is a vibe and is a place like no other. I was just there and did a Tokyo to Sapporo and back to Tokyo trip and watching your vids is bringing back all the same emotions your going through. Accomplishing the basic simple things in Japan without truly speaking or understanding the language feels so rewarding. Then experiencing the kindness and willingness to help from Japanese people restores faith in humanity from someone that lives in the states.

I went to Hirosaki/Aomori in October of 2012, it was my first time in Japan and I remember it vividly and will forever. I’ve been to Japan multiple times since but Aomori Prefecture stole my heart!

I know when everyone goes to Japan they only go to places like Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto etc. you know the tourist only spots. But I highly recommend to do what Dustin’s doing, drive to rural areas like Aomori, or head south towards fukuoka, Nagasaki. You’ll notice the people are totally different, the food is different and just the overall vibe is different than Tokyo and Dustin’s showing us this to us. I thank you Dut for bringing us with you.
