Solo Vesper's Host - Warlock | Destiny 2: Revenant

Finished my first blind solo clear of Vesper's Host! Definitely one of my favorite dungeons in the game at this point. This run can be optimized a lot with a better second encounter DPS strategy - I expect a clear with a reasonably faster second encounter will be around an hour. Expect a solo flawless run soon!

@@johnnymetonymic I had to rerecord the entrance because I lost the footage so I was using the dungeon gl that I got from my final boss kill. Otherwise, every encounter kill was my first, blind kill.

@@ninety-eight9855I’ve been working on my solo flawless run and I’ve gotten the first boss down to a three phase using a star eaters nova bomb with parasite, definitely a good choice for running warlock

@@barbecue1015 Yep, that's what I'm running as well for my flawless. I think the other main option besides parasite is wardcliff coil, but it's far less consistent than parasite.

@@ninety-eight9855Edit: I completely retract this statement lol. Wardcliff with song is actually really good if you can get some shots in quick. Wardcliff is reasonably good, but it’s tough to make it work well solo. Parasite is more effective and consistent, especially when pairing it with song of flame chain ignitions.

I activate devour by getting an ability kill with the feed the void aspect. Devour refreshes itself and heals you back to full whenever you get a kill while it's active.

Does the stag prevent lightning strikes from killing you?

It doesn't protect you at all from the initial hit, but it reduces the aftershock damage a bit. I mainly just used the stag to tank atraks + her clones and just jumped away from the lightning.

may i ask if you have to shoot all the red panels the room has at the final boss encounter or do you need skanner to see the right ones?

You need scanner to see which boss clone to kill.

In the room where the encounter starts you need the scanner to figure out which number panels you need to shoot and in the area that you drop down to after you just need to shoot all the panels in the room where Atraks is.

Not an auto rifle, but I was using the riskrunner exotic smg at the 7 minute mark. I show loadouts at the end, but I'll see if I can make DIM loadouts and put them in the description.
