Always have to put some of the juices from the pot onto your pulled wild game meats! I do it with elk and deer meat. Just enough so when you mix it around, all the meat looks moist. Then sweet baby rays and onto some bread. If im feeding people that say,” deer meat tastes gamey and yucky.” I put a pork roast on top of my deer roast and slow cook it all together, then same process once its done. Nobody ever knows there is deer meat until i tell them! Ive converted a LOT of people that way! Btw, you should build a walk in cold room in your new shop by your house, once its done. We built an 8’x10’ one in my fathers giant shop. Temp stays around 35-38 degrees in it, we fire up the jerry rigged ac unit once hunting seasons start. I hunt my blacktail for 10 days in there this year. She is sooo tender and tasty! My 5 yr old daughter constantly asks for deer for dinner.

This recipe makes that goose taste juicier Place in a crockpot and cover with apple juice. Cook on low 7 - 8 hours. Remove the meat and rinse with clean water. Discard juice. Shred the meat into pieces. Return to crockpot and add bbq sauce. Cook until heated through.
