Hi there! Thank you so much for all your walkthroughs, that kind of leveling resonates a lot :) Have you tried different specs for different dungeons? I've heard that some people had more speed going destro or going haunt, just wanted your opinion on that.

You are welcome! 😊 I really havent had the time to try solo with different specs yet. I’ll be going to test demo at some point. I feel that fire might struggle with incoming damage but it sure is worth a try also, havent just done it. Ppl have been clearing trash with Haunt build succesfully while leveling and it makes prolly more damage than meta-build but I dont think many ppl have done bosses with haunt tho. Im not sure. I really like Metamorphosis and how it feels safe. Im sure there are many variations to success with warlock soloing and what im doing definitely aint the only way.

Do you have talents runes listed anywhere Also im having a ton of issues at 30 in GY. my lock is p1 bis meta and i just feel like im taking far more damage than you are. idk if its a rune thing, maybe ur avoiding a lot more than i realize running around. not entirely sure

Runes are listed in the beginning of this video under talents like 15s in. What comes to gear I didnt have all P1 bis pieces, but I think the most important parts, I mean with bonus armor (weapon, neck, gloves). If you take top much damage use curse of weakness on melee mobs. Remember to train better drain life and try to keep your drain life latched always so dont run too far from mobs. Glad it was useful! :) The thing is that you pretty much do about 150-200dps as a solo metalock at this level when pulling 2-3 mobs. If you take into account the downtime you get between pulls and running back to entrance I bet if you wanna introduce another player to it, the other player would need to do enough dps that makes it for the downtime. This number is propably above 300dps at least. Maybe accompanied by a mage/mages would be worth it but then again they dont really need you if we wanna go that path. Ofc do whatever you wish and especially with friends! I really want ppl to play the game for fun and not to take everything so seriously, like so what if you make 5kXP/h less or more, do whats more fun to you. :)

Still dont have either shadow and flame or invocation rune. Out of the two, wouldn't the latter be better? 6secs or less, the rest of the damage is instant.

Im quite sure Invocation is not worth it in the state it is now. It really gives no benefit compared to just leave your dots run their full duration. If thats your only rune ofc put it but all other are just better.

Havent really thought the dot order, I just try to maintain all of them. Alltho prio on Drain Life and Siphon life if they are about to drop.

Definitely yes! Succubus is just a dps increase, nothing more unless you use seduce and again i think seduce has very low usability and impact overall. Warlock self heal and good passive phys damage mitigation is what keeps you going. There is a limit to this and that limit, when its found, cannot be overcome with any demon pet choice.

On the target portrait those are simple WeakAuras. On top of mob health bars its with addon called Plater Nameplates.

I been running SM GY in groups as destro warlock, insane AoE. Maybe I should try out tank aflic warlock to solo. Although i mostly got fire gear. What consumables you running? And where is the closest place to clear inventory/sell items?

Consumables: strong trolls blood potion, armor scroll. Food buff is not mandatory. Closest selling point is prolly at western plaguelands entrance or Brill. You can also keep TB hs and use it every hour to get new world buff also and then ask for a summon or summon yourself with help of couple friends then Hs. :) I have done only couple of runs in a row.

@@Diamog Prio drain life always, rest just keep your dots up (corruption, agony, siphon life). Corruption is prolly most dps. If you have all dots running or mob dying spam searing pain.

Dont know if theres minimum level but the mobs are almost lvl40 and you have to soak damage channel with damage reduction and lvl 32 shadow ward helps with that. Also pet sack, epic boots or shadow prot potion. :)

@@maddinrush8766 the basic principle for soloing is that you should aim to be about the level than trash mobs. Bosses can be 2-3 levels higher than you. So for gy its like lvl 30+

Yes you can do trash propably at lvl 28 quite fine. Get Arcane elixir and Wizard oil to boost your damage +healing and world buff ofc. The last boss propably needs about 30-31lvl if you have good gear.

Would you mind explaining your spell rotation for someone not really familiar with meta/tanking?

Meta tanking was done in P1 with two different specs that have very different spell usage. In group content I would go to fire specc but for soloing affli is pretty good atm as also seen in the video. In affliction just prio your drain life always. You dont have to pull with it but just make sure you toss it in always when mobs are hitting you. Next maintaining these: corruption, agony and siphon life. Remember to multidot. Once you have all up just spam searing pain and life tap and keep your eye on drain life. You will get used to it pretty fast. If you are going to burst you can pull with immolate but dont cast it after that.
