welcome back to solo travel diary entry no.4
today we are off to explore the penultimate destination; budapest.
i've had so many comments on other videos and insta posts asking if i've been to hungary and yes! it was on the route and i'm glad i can finally share this video with you.
in budapest i stayed in a super cosy hostel and expected to be quite solo, spending most the time alone however budapest ended up being one of my most social destinations!
i met some super cool people :)
solo travel =/= lonely

i edited this at 2am so fingers crossed the message comes through - i was so overwhelmed when i arrived in budapest. it was big, loud and crowded. i felt so alone. but i wasn’t, i had a lovely hostel and actually was around other travellers for pretty much the whole weekend. i was so grateful to be able to share the experiences - especially the baths which i was kinda anxious about going to alone lol. wish i could tell mills on that first night that it will all be ok ❤

I had a similar problems/worries in Budapest. Although it was beautiful, I got a bit lost and had no clues from signs and no one spoke English. It was ok in the end but an anxious few hours. x

Hello. I was also in Budapest at the end of 2023. It was snowing and I was eating langos. From then to today I remember scene how I eat langos and my hands freezing because of snow.
