SOLO WILD CAMPING | NORTH YORKSHIRE MOORS CAMP | UK WILD CAMPING

I recently went on a really chilled over night wild camp up on the North Yorkshire Moors, I just needed to be back out in nature doing what I love the most most- wild camping! But I wanted a really chilled trip so I set up in a lovely woods and relaxed with a film in nature. Nothing fancy, nowhere to far from home but exactly what I needed to fill that hole that I was missing from not been camping in a while!

Just a tip for extra warmth if you do get cold at night. I carry my water in a litre stainless bottle and fill it with hot water just before I turn in. I sleeve the bottle into a thick sock and tuck it into the bottom of the sleeping bag. It stays warm all night and keeps the feet toastie. And the water's fine to reheat for a drink in the morning.

Have you tried Delta pegs? They're great for soft ground and when it's windy, I normally pack a few just in case, I also find earplugs a godsend in the wind and rain, cuts all the noise out.
