Since my dad died in September gone of MND, I wanted my next big challenge to be for the charity that helped us all. I didn’t know what to do until my mate said that he knew some guy who walked across England. I’d never heard of the coast to coast until a few weeks ago. When another mate I told about it he said, ‘check this Haze bloke out’ and sent me a KZbin link. I watched the whole Coast to Coast journey and the reasons for you doing it to step in your grandad’s shoes. Inspiring is the word! Not just the walk, but the positivity shown. Truly inspired me! I’ve now looked at other videos on your advice and I’m about to buy the Big Agnes and smash this coast to coast! I’m doing my own vids now on your style of recording. So just wanted to say thanks for the inspiration! 👊

When my 2 lads were younger I used to take them and and as many of their mates that would fit in the tent. We would go to a local beach and camp. They loved sitting round a camp fire cooking their dinner and just being free especially.at night. I'm 52 now with 5 grandkids and my son said to me he wants his kids to have the memories he has of growing up. So this grandma's getting ready to do it all over again lol

Fantastic views. Thanks for putting this out, makes it better a tad for the times when you can't go out haha. That stove is brilliant. wide flame, simmers low like a champ. Its relatively quiet too. In cooler temps with the integrated regulator. Its v fast on its own, and partnering it with a pot with heat exchanger, its ridiculously fast. Mine has been everywhere with me and I've pretty much retired all gas others. For the pot with heat exchanger, I bought a relatively cheap one which came with its own burner and gas tripod, discarding the burner - just wanted the 2 pots, plastic lid, gas tripod was a cherry on top of cake. Altogether a bit cheaper than getting a jetboil, plus prefer this choice of burner. Im not one to be gram or minute counting but not wasting fuel counts for me. For family, normally just carry the bigger pot+lid. With the combo, when boiling water for drinks its grand as instead of watching a pot boiling for 15 minutes, its 1-2-3 and chilling/playing after!

This has got me all kinds of excited. I spent my childhood in Cumbria with the lakes and fells on my doorstep up until I was 14. I then moved down to the south east which is where I have stayed for the last 18 years. Me and my family have now decided that we're going to relocate back Cumbria. Beyond excited.
