I was a 10th mountain infantry soldier, and we learned bushcraft… but Not like this!! 😂😎 And we couldn’t ski with those rope bindings! However ours was designed for short term and anything we couldn’t break down in under a couple minutes, we didn’t need. Still she is an incredible young lady.

Thank you 🙏 dear Marusya again for this instructive lesson on winter survival in the wildness. Imagine if I had had to do this as an old bag. Here are my at least ten reasons what would have happened in my situation One, I would have definitely gotten lost in this lonely, beautiful area. Secondly, I would certainly have injured myself with the saw while building the igloo. Thirdly, the igloo would have become crooked and lopsided. Fourthly, the igloo would have collapsed on top of me. Fifthly, the tree would have fallen over while I was climbing it or I would have fallen from. Sixthly, the fire wouldn't have started anyway. Seventh, I would have crashed into the ice. Eighth, no fish would have bitten, but me. Ninth, a bear or a wolf would have visited me after midnight or at least in the morning. Tenth: I would have died of hunger. Please excuse if I forgotten anything else. All the best and keep up the good work. Greetings from Bavaria

Just found you on youtube. AllI have to say is, whoever taught you these skills Really knows what they are doing, and you have learned an amazing array of survival skills for different environments!! I have never built an igloo, but I probably could now after watching your video. Great trick with pounding a stick in the bricks near the top of the igloo to hold them in place, and the Ice window was a smart idea as well (That is of course if it does not snow on it). Catching the bait in the ice fishing hole the way you did was Brilliant as well. If you ever get tired of making KZbin vids you can always start your own survival school/class if you do not have one already. Keep up the good work!!
