Winter snow camping just looks so peaceful, looking forward to when it snows in the mountains of NC so I can do it myself! Also, was just watching another 4runner overlanding youtuber who camped out in a winter storm in a similar looking area, talking about passing another person in a campsite while he was driving down the trail at night, wonder if that was the same guy who passed by your site haha

I can't wait to get out with my 4Runner in the Cascades. We have 3' of snow at home so it will be a challenge to go any higher up in the mountains, LOL.
@OXFOOT2 жыл бұрын
Yeah I typically can’t climb too high in the mtns in fall/winter. Like right now I’m usually not driving too far into the woods to get to a camp site, but I usually don’t have to because most people aren’t out camping so I can grab one of the close spots.
@debbilermond15532 жыл бұрын

Which do you think is better for winter camping, diesel heater or negative sleeping bag? Been on the fence since having warm air seems like the more comfortable solution. Keep the videos up!!
@OXFOOT2 жыл бұрын
If you live somewhere that it gets pretty cold I would 100% go negative sleeping bag over any sort of heating source if you can only choose one. A heater can break or fail but a sleeping bag only fails if you get it wet or something. If the heater fails and you don’t have a negative sleeping bag you really put yourself at risk. A heater is nice but I went years without a heater and was fine.
