Hi. I was riding in Iran in october 2019. Never heard about the right lane regulation, no more of any road regulation at all. The traffic is wild there, but once you understand there is no rule, you adapt very quickly your riding style. Fine with me: no rule = you are responsible of your life! Loved Iran every minute of the trip!

You would be surprised. In a country there is always a government with an official agenda and the people. The people most often have no ties with politics and will be friendly and welcome you everytime regardless of what their heads of state is up to. Also in this whole region there's a huge tradition of hospitality. The more unlikely it is, that some certain nation's citizen is visiting their country the more delighted they will be that you did it nonetheless. You can say they appreciate your trouble and effort to do it despite all the circumstances you might have had doing so.
@TheAhanin6 жыл бұрын
You wont be free to go around on your own like her, you have to stay in groups and with a tour guy, American and English people. Since the last terrorist attacks on Iranian nuclear scientists, search on KZbin (puting bomb inside their cars and killing them in front of their wives and children) American and British tourists need to stay in groups. But considering all of that, the visit would be your best experience in life, Americans are loved and respected by people. Iranian know American people are different than American gov. I wish American knew that too and wouldn't let their president call all of us terrorist and ban anyone with Iranian background to visit US, Even if you born in Europe and never saw Iran in your life.
@thosjomi90486 жыл бұрын
Soli A: I’m from the Netherlands and travelled the world, including Iran. What stays with me of that visit is that most people, especially in the cities were well educated, friendly and helpful. This is in contrast to the common outside view of Iran as a country that only talks about war, strict religion-implied rules, etc. I see the difference between individuals and government of course, but please note that each nation has the government that it has for a reason, so in a way you have the ‘correct’ government. One that fits you as a people and at this moment in time.
@canaannoah47126 жыл бұрын
I think any person from any where in the world will be safe almost any where in the middle east outside of a war zone like Syria , your media and government would like to scare you , because they are Zionists .
@thosjomi90486 жыл бұрын
Canaan Noah: I agree with your statement but not with your conclusion because I don’t see the connection. It seems as if you are saying that ‘the government’ does not want ‘us’ to travel to the ME or, in this case to Iran. And they use the media to scare us? Media is pretty independent however; in most of Europe anyway so that won’t work at all. My government has no say in where I travel.
