I especially like the Bug, Water, and Fire type gyms for this region. A common complaint nowadays about monotype gyms is that the theming is always the same, but these gyms show there's still a ton of creative ways to interpret a type. If this hypothetical game included some characters from other regions, I would love to see Flannery and Brando meet each other!

In the Dead Man’s Pass Zachary rival battle, maybe he should have a ghost type from the resort? Ya know, since he was asking the player to let him know if they found any. As it stands now, it’s like he didn’t find an underused ghost type in the resort. Why not have him succeed in finding one?
