This was so helpful. Thank you very much! I am hoping to create some sort of a wine holder/bag, when I bring a bottle of wine as a gift. And this helped me figure out how to do the knot in the round. I would love to watch more of your teachings.

Your technique is just fine. you dont need to apologize to people. just our of curiosity, have you considered an exteded single crochet (double for aussies) instead of the double crochet (treble for aussies) that youre using as your cheater stitch? its esentially a solomons knot stitch. any stitch can be "extended" by working a chain stitch into the first pulled up loop, then working the rest or the stitch. by lengthening the chain, then working the SC (DC for aussies) into the top of the chain, you wiill have created esentailly 2 solomons knots that meet at the top, which is what you are trying to achieve. I hope thats clear. if not, look up the extended single crochet here on youtube. This was a great tutorial, Thank you!

Hello Jenny, thank you for the video! Do we not need to increase when crocheting in the round? how would you increase in the round for something like a sleeve?
