@@jamiestewart48 one of my favorite characters. The look he gives when Capt C said Hickey attacked Lt Irving. Tozer's muitany was to protect his men and he was deceived. Marine to the end. Great big balls!

@@scorpiolady73I agree, I do think he had genuine concerns for the men under his direct command as the Sargent of the marines. He clearly cared in the way he tended to Pvt. Heather. He knew they were the least well-regarded(look at how Mr. Gregory spoke of pvt. Bryant’s death to the rest of them. Called him just a red-coated conscript who wasn’t worth a damn) and the least paid. So if push came to shove they’d be the first line of defense and would be expected to make that sacrifice before anyone else. It’s understandable most of us would have gripes over that, and it fell outside of regular military duty. They were there to defend against human combatants, not giant demon bears.

Some people have theorized that Solomon Tozer was one of 3 survivors of the Franklin Expedition, not Crozier. The show at least did him justice by having him be the second to last crew member killed by the Tuunbaq.
