I've been going back and watching a lot of your old videos and I'll just have them playing in the background like a podcast while I do other things. I really enjoy hearing you just ramble on about this hobby which I enjoy so much. You create a very comfortable atmosphere and each time I fire a video up it kinda feels like I'm sitting down with a friend.

For some odd reason I find the wood table with the knives on it, cup of coffee on the table and the plaid shirt your wearing aesthetically pleasing and relaxing.

Just got mine in today. I think I’m doing to post a cut test later on with it. Probably put it up against the pm2 to see what knife cuts better.

I feel the same way. I have the 3V version, and it’s a fun knife that I hardly carry, but during get-togethers with other knife buddies, it always comes out.

I just got mine in recently, and I too have mixed feelings, but it's a damn good carry! While it may not be the best blade for EDC, it certainly has a certain factor. I think, in a self defense situation, pulling out the Stitch, would give your attacker second thoughts immediately. I personally prefer a thick blade. I would not like to depend upon a knife with a big hole in it like Spyderco blades, but this is a full 4mm of M390 fighting Steel. If you were attacked by a bear on a walk, would you feel good about carrying a Sebenza or a Stitch? I'll take Microtech metal any day.

Not sure if my Comment or question is pertinent now. But although Spending 375-400 on a special knife like this beautiful Beast is not Practical or Affordable for many knife lovers, What is the next best " Knockoff" ( only to have Some sort of Satisfaction of having that knife..at a budget friendly price. KNOWING its not as good in many ways.. Via alternative sources . ( ie: DH gate or Aliexpress )
@TheSrekaens5 жыл бұрын
How come one youtuber claims it sucks at cutting while other praises it for outstanding cutting performance, mainly because of the behind the edge thickness, claiming that it cuts much better than PM2? Do you even use those knives or just look at the blade stock thickness?
@jeffoff77953 жыл бұрын
The Shaman is the only knife I need and if you aren’t buying on the secondary market, they’re reasonably priced, even the sprint runs. I still bought the Stitch the moment I ran across it. I love it.
@SmokeRingsPipeDreams4 жыл бұрын
A knife like this is kind of like a british sports car. Technically it may not be better than other, or maybe in some ways worse, (and not practical) but others just don't have the soul, or that "Je ne sais quoi" that brings joy to life. Enjoy your knife without shame. :)

I’m in a love affair / addiction with the Stitch. I own three. The standard edge apocalyptic finish, all black full serrated, and the newest version, the gray clear. But I want one more, an all black plain edge. They’re so bad ass and the shock factor when I pull one out is awesome too.

Just Sub'd. I wish they made it in a Manual Version and wish they made the blade sit deeper into the handle towhere not so much of the blade is protruding. Also wish they made it a hollow grind.

I absolutely love my stitch, I made a mistake in trading for a Hellhound which is a beautiful knife as well but I missed my stitch a lot more than anticipated, just landed the dlc version today to fill that void, for microtech known high price I find the stitch to be one of the better values on the dollar, it’s a to each their own but I suggest giving it a try.

I love the MT auto stitch and Borka Blades in general. I'm glad this model has the normal torx hardware. I wish I'd known they were going to come out with all the different color variations before I bought mine bc I have the same model as you and its a little plain for ~$400. Its not the perfect EDC but its such a fun and interesting knife. I'd take it all day over the sebenza. I find myself carrying the Strider SNG/ Protech Auto and the Liong Mah XV the most though. The only gripe I have is the push button is a little gritty.

Junk¥ard dog ! has one of those. I don't like it but its a Novelty Item even though it is made well and has quality steel so I would not say its high prices trash but its a knife with no real purpose other than I like that knife type of knife. So I would not buy one of those, plus I'm not a Microtech knife guy. It's one stupid looking blade style IMHO.

I've owned Microtech and can say as far as my experience goes with them.Way over priced.My combat Troodon at 460 dollars with all the misfires and loud sprin sing it was not even close to be worth the retail price.
@tacticalcenter86586 жыл бұрын
It's a safe queen like all microtechs. I have a really expensive microtech and the quality is great but not made for use. Striders are better tools (but suck for edc in pocket). Also microtech are sue happy and copy other designs despite them being made in USA. The owner of the company seems to have two faces but I use the word seems... Cause he'd sue me otherwise. Regardless the knives microtech make are worth the cash but not for everyone for various reasons and often are past the point of diminishing return. The stitch is too thick behind the edge. Probably a good baton knife lol but too thick behind the edge doesn't mean it won't cut. Tbo though aluminum handle knives over $100 are not for me. The finish of aluminum when it's used is ugly and cheap. And 300-400$ the knife I get better be titanium.
@BigThumpr16 жыл бұрын
Tactical Center all Microtechs are safe queens?🤔🤔 pretty sure I use my stainless Damascus Combat Troodon D/E every day. While I don’t agree with some of the stuff they do, they are meant to be used. There’s a video of a guy taking a hammer to his Combat to drive it into wood, just to show that the locking mechanism on the OTF can be for hard use. So yes they are meant for hard use and can handle the abuse. Do some people collect the mirror polished blades along with some of the other other Damascus blades and not use them, sure. But that does not mean every Microtech is meant to just stare at. It’s a tool, and some of us men use them.
@tacticalcenter86586 жыл бұрын

The clone was $29.00 ! But it has the bugout crap plastic ( rubbery ) handle ( there's a bugout clone bugout with G10 $29.00 way way better ) and the cut outs in the blade for the lock are very slight (shallow ) it wll most certainly will fail with a little pressure ( hand pressure ) ! Hope the real one isn't like that ! The real pne should not be more than $ 50.00 ! I don't care what the hype is !
