I agree the mw19 campaign was a good foundation, the problems began when they started incorporating the story into spec ops and warzone, it gave the writers the excuse not to tie up loose ends in single player. Knowing current COD, makarov will get killed in a cutscene after doing an Easter egg in mw4 season six or some bullshit like that

i just beat MW2 like 1 hour before posting this comment and i gotta say this is like a top 5 speeches of all time in a video game, the old MW stories are 100x better then the garbage that been put out lately, the only good new MW story was MW(2019). i also realized too that the stealth mission in the old MWs were amazing, not slow paced or boring like the new ones cus in the old ones you can go 100% stealth or gun blazing but the new ones you have go stealth or the enemies will kill you instantly or you'll have to reset from last checkpoint.
