Awesome job Jake - I wish I could skin every pelt in fast motion without it looking like I did it with a dull chainsaw 😂

Great video. Could see everything well . Lot of sheep fat on that bugger . Do they smell pretty strong ? I never have gotten use to kyotes.
@JakeDriedgersolotrapper3 жыл бұрын
Very little smell. Very healthy and because it was bitterly cold, they froze solid quick preserved well.
@MichaelBrown-Tator3 жыл бұрын
Definitely learned something, even tho we dont have wolves I will be trying this with yotes on hanging the hide up and letting the body have all the weight and no blood on your hide.

Do you think the roller skinning machine from AJ’s would work well on wolves? Also, what size winch are you using? Lots of pull when doing a wolf that’s for sure!
@JakeDriedgersolotrapper2 жыл бұрын
Not sure what that machine is Tony. I’d have to look at the winch specs. But I stall it out on some wolves which I am ok with. I have ripping animals sometimes still partially frozen. Thanks for the comments.

Solo Trapper I see this product AJ’s skinning machine that he makes and I comes with a roller and from the video it works great with wolves. Was curious as to your thoughts. You have great wolf videos, hope more are coming this year.

Really wanted a look at what made Kinky tail kinky to see what may have caused the injury. Love your content!
@JakeDriedgersolotrapper3 жыл бұрын
I looked over the tail and could not actually see or feel an injury. Not sure if soft tissue damage at an early age is what held the kink in the tail.

love watching your vids...do you sell the wolf skulls?
@JakeDriedgersolotrapper3 жыл бұрын
Wolf skulls are in the freezer.
@timross70463 жыл бұрын
Do you due anything with the skulls before freezing ?
@JakeDriedgersolotrapper3 жыл бұрын
@@timross7046 I just put them in raw.
@krystalgazer51963 жыл бұрын
Yeh. If you could start skinning it earlier when it's still warm. The skin comes of a lot easier saves on the pulled muscle your going to give yourself. Great vids .
@JakeDriedgersolotrapper3 жыл бұрын
Right on. Cold weather and time frames aren’t always in favor of the trapper. Sometimes they get frozen through and you just have to deal with it.
