I have tried to watch other Japan videos and they just don't hold a candle to yours. I love how you take the time to give us the time of the sailing, Google Maps and explain what you are eating. I am getting more familiar with the food and always try to guess how many bowls of rice you will eat. I get sad when a restaurant gives you such a small bowl but happy when they give you refills.

This ferry seemed really nice. The only thing I didn't like was that they charged you for lockers. Even with a capsule, they should provide a secure place for SOME luggage. You had no complaints about the food, so that's also good. We trust you on that. ;)
@dumbbellenjoyer2 жыл бұрын
It doesn't really need to be secure. Japan's crime rate is really low and conviction rate is close to 100%, and you're on a ship with cctv, if you wake up and find your bag missing it'll likely be found before the passengers are allowed to depart.
@mikkj12 жыл бұрын
@@dumbbellenjoyer Then why do they need lockers at all? "low" and nonexistent are two different things, and I'd rather be able to secure any valuables and not count on them "likely" being found. All of the other ferries had free lockers, some right under the bed.

This is the first time I saw so many people on a ferry...Glad to see that this is a popular mode of transport, as it should be, after all. I've watched quite a few travel vlogs & other contents from Japanese & Korean channels; & one thing I always find is that the vloggers never disclose the identity of strangers. They'll either stop videoing or adjust the angle so that strangers are unrecognizable. I love this simple, yet powerful, show of courtesy. Thank you for your culture of respect & understanding. 🙏

Hurray! New episode of Solo Travel, new ferry, new capsule bed... It's all coming together! Could you see the hotel you stayed at in the previous video from the tower? The fried things on your plate the first time? Were they kind of grainy? With veggie bits in them? They might have been Hush Puppies, which are corn meal, some veggie bits, wetted long enough to get the corn meal to stick together, and friend... The rattling might have been new ship noises, where things like screws and tie bits haven't found an easy resting point. Or it might've been the hangers above the bed...?
