@@deadcxrpse.9460 Heard Broken all the time and my mom had Rise Above This as her alarm (I hated the song because of this but obviously grew to love it over time, learning what it was about). I didn't hear them much, but I remember back in 2017 hearing songs from Poison the Parish and being like "Holy fuck, this is Seether???". Got into them finally in like 2018 And yeah, I'm hyped! My friends band is opening for them, Bush, and Breaking Benjamin. I get to see Incubus and Sublime with Rome the day before that too

As dumb as this sounds, probably cause he's from New Zealand. We have a lot of great rock and metal bands but it's been hard for them to get exposure overseas historically. Even before COVID, the only international shows NZ bands typically put on are in Australia, as the music hasn't gained popularity elsewhere. Check out I Am Giant or Blindspott.
