@ateliebiabonne6 ай бұрын
@DREARBEATS I kind of like more sadder/scary music, I love Deep Breath (Persona 3), Wisdom Cries (AURORA), and Unreasonable Behavior (OFF game) because of how uncomfortable and strange they feel. It's hard to make those feelings on purpose when talking about music and media, so when it hits right, even if I'm scared, I can't help but like it
@DREARBEATS6 ай бұрын
@@ateliebiabonne thats a different feeling, youre talking about fear. it doesnt make us sad or happy. Im talking about music that sounds so happy that it hurts. thats why i personally prefer songs that are less emotional (sad or happy) but rather scary, edgy, or dark.

@DREARBEATS ohh now I get it, sorry for getting it wrong! And... idk? I kind of like to feel happy/positive/hopeful, like with Voids (Patterns) or Maya's Theme and Memories of School (also Persona 3), I'm pretty negative and apathetic myself (in the meaning of not experiencing many emotions) so it's good to have a song to remind me/help me feel something else, even if it hurts

Your music actually touched me so deeply. There is a passage where it says "And when I'm better, we'll do everything I gotta stop making promises I can't keep". That instantly reminded me of my grandmother that passed away, I was 12 she was suffering from Alzheimer and her dream was to see me graduating from collage, she said when the moment came she would be there in the crowd cheering, slowly the disease consumed her but she never forgot her love for me, even if she thought I was her son from time to time. She died when I finished my first year of collage, I was 17. Hearing this music brings all the memories I have of her, it's sad but at the same time comforting, thank you so much for making this kind of music, I hope it brings comfort and hope to everyone that listened to it like it did to me. Sorry for my English, it's my second language.

Everything goes on just gives me that feeling the entire song. I've ingrained the memories of writing and finishing my 7 book series to that song, and it fits so well for the ending where all of my characters have to go on with their lives but will never meet again. I stumbled upon a vtuber song recently (matches what another comment said lol), I think it's supposed to be a sad song, it mostly is, but in some sections it confused me on what emotion should I have felt with the way she sing. It gave me a familiar feeling and started remembering media that gave me a similar feeling, the main thing that popped into mind was a robot voice singing in a melancholic way, so I just started typing things like "sad robot" for a while until I stumbled upon "Sad Machine", which I don't know if it was what I was remembering, but still was spot on. I realized that this type of robot voices are great at alternating between emotion instantly, that vtuber singing managed to do the same thing, ironically for a bit I was questioning if her singing was an AI voice (not in a negative way, and she wasn't AI). Then I clicked on this short, lol.
