You've never been able to do that, Porter. Your shit is derivative.

Also, there's later on a 4-major, 4-minor, 3-minor, 6-minor (C major, C minor, B minor, E minor) which seems similar

Hi there, I ’m an artist developer, songwriter, and producer.-- i've 2.4billion stream and range btweeen 8 and 14 million streams a week,,, I was Brian Eno’s assistant for a while before becoming a freelance producer/programmer. I’ve worked on many huge hit records, including several multi-platinum sellers, and two of them have won the BRIT AWARD for Best New British Album. More recently, I won the 2024 MERCURY MUSIC PRIZE for Best New Album with a band I developed, co-wrote, and produced for, featuring their biggest hit, The World’s Biggest Paving Slab, which is currently blowing up. Three acts I developed performed at Glastonbury 2024-six if you count those I’ve worked with. Anyway, the reason I’m writing to you is that I’m up to 'Volume 7' on a “Tell All” playlist, featuring my most closely guarded tips and tricks-using the actual masters from the sessions. I think your viewers would find it fascinating. I’m looking for 'my people!' Please check it out, and if you agree, I’d be grateful if you could share it. I don’t even have 800 subscribers!

I love that advice about the kick being shorter but adding the reverb to almost fake the natural big club reverb you would get. giving the bass even more room to play.

He really didn't like that track I remember him mentioning that collab wasn't a great experience.

I noticed Guy's Big Kick and Battery kick layers are in stereo. Why is this?
@SolStateMusic18 күн бұрын
Not sure. Perhaps one of the kick layers has some stereo information? Not uncommon.

Thought I had Left Behind from the Plot in You playing in my background because I had just listened to it before I pulled up this video 😅 Also extremely bittersweet type of music.

I've been trying the Cutline DnB 2 & it's 👏 it's also really nice to have a go-to when laying down a track as you can throw it in, dial in some rough settings, it sounds great, then you can keep focusing on the song as a whole and come back later to fine tune if need be. this is how i work at the moment at least 👍

Stoked he's using cubase. Hard to find as many videos on youtube about it compared to other DAW's, however, Cubase and Nuendo are by far my favorite workstations.

Love to see these vocal chains, and I will certainly be experimenting with them, but the biggest take away for me was hearing Guy say all together they only add 10%, and the main thing is to have a sick tune to begin with!
