Sir if we are talking about the contraceptives then progestin should be a contraceptive as we hv mentioned in classification "progestin only contraceptive" but you are saying that it's favouring the pregnancy... Plz Sir do reply bcz I'm getting confused.

Not to confuse. See progestin action is dose dependent in normal range it support pregnancy but if you increase it amount it will stop supporting pregnancy. Thats the principle of hormonal contraceptive. Like in case of high prolactin it inhibit pregnancy
