At 0:27, you misstate that a graph cannot touch an asymptote. Vertical asymptotes cannot be touched by the graph, but horizontal asymptotes certainly can be crossed by a graph.

You are correct. I was trying to keep the explanation as simple as possible and forgot to mention sometimes horizontal and oblique asymptotes can be crossed.

@@MathandStatsHelp I never knew that was possible. If so, why is it even called an asymptote still? Is it because while some lines can cross it the rest still can't?
