Solve Auto Lock Problem Easily Without Any Extra Tools

Hello everybody, as you are here you probably know that most of the newer cars have this option for auto-lock once you start driving. However, German cars specifically have this issue that this option sometimes does not work, and it keeps trying to lock itself all the time, while when it works properly it only locks once. #AutoLock #Problem #Solved
The reason for this is that some of your doors cannot lock properly. You can identify which doors exactly by this simple trick. Park your car and lock it. Then go and try to open one by one door until you find which door is still open. As you can see, for me it was the rear right door. Lucky for you, you can fix this problem without any additional tool. Simply using your car key try to move back and forth the child lock system and that should fix the problem. If the problem is still there, you can remove this protective rubber and find this hidden button here, as you can see mine was full of dust and sand so if you have wd spray put that one and again do with the key back and forth and that should now fix your auto-lock problem. Now when I lock my car it is completely locked and we can confirm this by driving the car and as you can see it locked completely, it shows yellow sign and lock symbol and now as you drive it does not try to lock again as it is already locked successfully.

All throughout the night my 2014 Jeep Patriot kept locking even thought all 4 doors were locked...( the horn kept blowing). Over the past few days I noticed that I would have to press my remote several times to get them remote to with lock or unlock. Check in the options on the display of the car. If you cannot find it there then using diagnostic for sure you can disable it.

Hello, yes, on my previous car VW Golf IV moisture was causing the alarm to go off on the car when it was raining. The reason was that somebody was trying to steal the car from the trunk and he damaged the lock on the back and wherever it was raining the water was entering the lock and it was causing the alarm. I fixed it by adding some glue there so that the water cannot enter anymore. You should check on your car from the sides since your seatbelts are wet.
