Hello mam my father was open a individual fixed deposit account at Tripura Gramin Bank(Regional Rural Bank) branch with Rs 10 lakh registered nominee along with ME (7.60% interest rate) in 2017 and the amount will be mature on 2026 ....in 14/06/2021 my father was died due to sudden heart attack....but sir As a nominee I m not interested premature withdraw this amount... *As a nominee I want to continue this Fixed deposit amount till 2026 without harm 7.60% interest rate* is it possible? If yes what RBI Guidelines say......and I already informed my Tripura gramin bank branch with proper application latter along with my father death certificate they said that " u can continue this FD with 7.60% interest rate till maturity date"
