SOLVE THE RUBIK'S CUBE - LESSON 3 "The Yellow X"

This is the third official lesson in a short series on how to solve the Rubik's Cube. You know how to solve the top face and it's connected edges. Now you will learn how to create an "X" on the opposite face.
The method shown in this series is not the common method shown in most videos or books. With this method you will only need to memorize 3 or 4 move patterns. And two of them are simple to memorize.
Learn from Jack Haze, who has known how to solve the Rubik's Cube since 1980-81, when the Rubik's Cube burst onto the scene in the US.

Again, thank you so much Jack. This has been fun. Re-watching this from 4:21 to really understand that if all 4 corners aren't solved, you have to get it back to 1 corner first. I had 2 corners solved and I kept putting one of the solved corners at the bottom closest to me, and no matter how many times I did the maneuver, it just stayed at 2 corners solved. I re-watched this section closely and realized I needed to do the maneuver with a blank space in that starting position to go backwards down to just one solved piece, then I was able to solve the remaining 3 on the next maneuver. Can't wait till lesson 4 now!

Yes. You can go from one corner to 4. But for 0 corners or 2 corners, you have to transition to 1 corner first. Glad you figured it out! I could have been a lot more clear.
