What’s sad and really hurts is that the authorities probably knew he was in the lake but didn’t have the resources to get him out 😢 May your sweet soul rest in forever peace Mr. Thornton ❤️🌹

@jrock24602 жыл бұрын
@@wolverinemcoc correct - it’s simply about the cost. However, they have plenty of time to sit on the sides of roads and “sting” people for move over law or other minor infractions in order to zap the tax payer. We don’t pay enough so we need to get fined for nonsense. Here, they know the location of the last cell ping, the front end is lying on the damn ramp, but they don’t have the “resources” to pull the man out. Fuckin sick times we’re living in.

This was incredibly heart breaking, it hits close to home since my dad is also a Vietnam Veteran around the same age. As a veteran I can honestly say you guys are doing an amazing job and and although this situation is somewhat different you guys have brought another vet home and given his family closure, God Bless and Merry Christmas. Rest in Peace Mr. Thornton. One thing that does confuse me though is that with all the resources we in the U.S have is why did it take 7 months for someone to look for him, certainly some agency in that state/county had the ability and equipment to do in the last 7 months what it took you folks less than a day to do, his family should have had closure long before this.

This has truly been a blessing to witness through the eyes of each diver’s experience. Jeremy, you and the other divers are like angels to these families bringing them answers, they anxiously needed to hear. Thank you for helping to bring John Thornton home to his family. Very proud of all of you. I watched Jared's video and then Jacobs. I am very impressed with how thorough Jared is at explaining things to each of you and making sure you are properly trained and understand the how something is done but also the why it's done that way. He definitely knows his stuff and even he's still learning new stuff. I don't think people realize that all of you have shed tears doing this job. It was definitely a reality check for Britain but the first few would be. Even if you aren't diving and only an observer, it's still gonna tear at your heart. If you weren't putting your heart out there when doing this why would you bother. I can understand why his vehicle wasn't spotted; if Jared was confused at first then you know this was a tough one.

It amazes me every time that sometimes they are so close and just missed by so many. Proud of what you all do and knowing the stress this must place on each and every one of you and the relief you must get when the person is found. The families are ever so grateful and finally knowing that now, they can put their loved one to rest.
